I’ve been busy decorating which always includes lots of cleaning. This year it also included a bit of creative furniture rearrangement since my craigslist dresser and desk were still living in the family room.
So today's blog project needed to be quick, cheap and easy … and it doesn’t get much cheaper or easier than this holiday picture card wreath …
The inspiration came from a recent Target circular. Yeah, most people covet actual merchandise. I, on the other hand, covet the not-for-sale staging pieces ...
I took a $2.99 wreath form from the craft store and wrapped it with ribbon. Added a bow. And attached our old holiday picture cards with pins …
And now I have a fun new decoration for my recently renovated entry (which you can see more of here) …
… and a fun new way to display our old holiday picture cards that were packed away -- and forgotten -- in various tubs and containers in the basement.
The most time consuming part of this project was tracking down those old holiday picture cards …
