ME: Well, when is your next round?

DEAD TREE: I think I'll go for a walk.
ME: You're not fooling anyone y'know. Look, isn't there something you can do?
DEAD TREE: I feel happy... I feel happy.

ME: Ah, thanks very much.
CHICAGO STREETS & SAN: Not at all. See you on Thursday.
ME: Right. Hear that tree? Sure, you’ve been showing a few more signs of life …

OH I know this!! We've not let our "children" (read 16 & 18 year old) watch yet but it does bring back memories for me.... but then I was 18 before I ever watched any so I figure may as well carry on the tradition. Thanks for the laugh!!

ReplyDeleteYou and Brawn need to get together, you seem to talk tree. You scared yours INTO growing or it was coming down, and he scared one OUT of growing because it had to come down. Had a live one so he put the ropes around it and scared it to death before it was felled.
